The Juniper Spritz: A Winter Mocktail Inspired by SILVA

As the festive season kicks into gear, there’s nothing quite like a beautifully crafted drink to set the tone—something celebratory, restorative, and perfect for sharing. This year, we’ve been inspired by our latest scent, SILVA, with its grounding notes of juniper, citrus, and crisp woods, to create a mocktail that’s as refreshing as a walk in the winter forest.

We’re calling it The Juniper Spritz, a seasonal blend of tart cranberry, zesty orange, and botanical juniper that’s both indulgent and alcohol-free. With Sophie expecting, it’s the perfect festive treat she can enjoy too—a reminder that a drink doesn’t need to contain alcohol to feel special.

Here’s how to make your own SILVA-inspired winter refreshment:

Ingredients

  • 100ml cranberry juice (unsweetened for a tart kick)
  • 50ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 10ml juniper syrup (see below for how to make this at home)
  • 100ml soda water or sparkling water
  • Orange peel twist, rosemary, dried juniper berries and/or fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Ice

Juniper Syrup

  • 100ml water
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried juniper berries (lightly crushed)

Heat the water, sugar, and juniper berries in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Simmer gently for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let it steep for another 10 minutes. Strain into a jar and refrigerate.

Method

  1. Fill a glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the cranberry juice, orange juice, and juniper syrup.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Top with soda water or sparkling water for a refreshing fizz.
  5. Garnish! We've selected some rosemary, dried juniper berries and a few fresh cranberries for a festive touch.
